2692587 - How to identify corrupted mds.ini file

The mds.ini file needs to be validated to make sure that it is not corrupt. In 7.1 SP18 the default mds.ini looks like the following:

Check the content of the mds.ini file and compare it to the above example. Usually the easiest way to validate is to search for the parameter Distribution. Frequently this is missing if the mds.ini is corrupt.
