Symptom

Class search with instructor filter returns class with other instructor.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Learning Administration >
  2. Learning Activities >
  3. Classes >
  4. Filter the Instructor (add a specific instructor) >
  5. Search results display classes with a different primary instructor.

Cause

The "affected" instructor is an instructor for a different time slot of the class.

Resolution

If the instructor you filtered is listed as an instructor for a time slot of the Class, then the search results will display the Class even if he/she is not the primary instructor.
