2693862 - Workflow - Unable to edit External Code and Effective Start Date via Update

For MDF Workflows you are unable to edit External Code and Effective Start Date via 'Update'

Employee Central - MDF

1. Set a Workflow to trigger onSave of MDF Object
2. In Workflow configuration give Approver the ability to Edit Transaction
3. Trigger Workflow
4. As Approver open Workflow and choose 'Update'
5. Unable to edit External Code and Effective Start Date

This is expected behavior

• When a workflow is triggered by Create (i.e initial record entry) or Correct (i.e editing a historical record), then on the workflow request page the user is allowed to edit its external code and effective start date.

• When a workflow is triggered by Insert (i.e using 'Pencil' or 'Insert New Record' via history), then on the workflow request page the user is not allowed to edit its external code and effective start date.

Note: The field level override will not be effective for external code and effective start date during the workflow process. e.g. Approver has the read-only access for effective start date, but he will still be able to edit effective start date of the applicant's record during workflow update.
