2694195 - Organizational Unit Name Change Reflected on Documents Posted Before The Validity of The Name Change

• You change an Organizational Unit name from ABC to DEF valid from dd.mm.yyyy to Unlimited.
• You notice that the new name DEF of the Organizational Unit is the one displayed on the documents posted before the Organizational Unit name change.

SAP Business ByDesign

• According to the current mappings of the UI view, the system shows the most recent name of the Profit Center and the Cost Centre irrespective of when the document was created. Hence, DEF shows on documents posted before the name change.
• This is the normal system behavior. The change in the name of the Organizational Unit will be reflected on past documents also.
