2694272 - Taxes are Unavailable for United States Country Version for Expense Reports

Symptom

You are unable to see the Tax Code Groups for Expense Types which belongs to United States Country Version.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
  3. Go to the Relevant Project and Choose Open Activity List.
  4. Go to Fine Tune Activities and Find Activity Expense Reporting - US.
  5. Go to Edit Expense Types.
  6. You can go to any Expense Type and go to Details .

Under Definition,Tax Code Groups are not available in Value help.

Cause

Taxes are not recoverable from United States Tax Authorities and the Companies in United States pay the Total amount of Expense Report including Taxes to Employees.

Resolution

Business ByDesign is configured to meet the legal standards/requirements of the Country versions.Hence,System works as designed.
