You are trying to transfer one employee from company A to company B and when you are informing the position ID and/or name it is returning "No Data".

Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Select Any employee you want to transfer;
- Click in Actions > Change Job and Compensation Information;
- Select the effective date and Even reason (if event reason is not automatically defined);
- Type the position ID and or Name and get "No data"
Cause
In Position Management settings you have set Yes to "Use Company Filter for Positions in Manager Self-Service Job Information, History, and Quick Actions" under UI Customizing Tab.
Resolution
When you have Use Company Filter for Positions in MSS Job Information and History set to "Yes" the system will display the position in the Position field based on the Company defined for the employee, this means that in order to be able to select the position you want you need to follow the following process:
- Select Any employee you want to transfer;
- Click in Actions > Change Job and Compensation Information;
- Select the effective date and Event reason (if event reason is not automatically defined);
- Select the Company where the employee will be moved to;
- Then after selecting the company you'll be able to select the position you want.
