2694416 - EP: UWL - 500 Connection timed out exception for Users maintaining Substitution

Symptom

  • You are utilizing the Universal Worklist while encountering intermittent 500 Connection timed out exceptions ONLY for Users with high volume Substitution. 
  • Further analysis of the developer traces reveals the below exceptions:
    • EP-BC-UWL# Item with external id :<> and system id: <>: Problem in performing action <reserve>: Internal error:Item cannot be reserved in the back-end system. Current status is <STARTED>#
    • BC-JAS-SF# Cannot clear ICM server cache by [EXCEPTION] interface disabled
