Symptom

  • Using SAP Transportation Management, you have a business requirement to restrict users from changing or deleting Transportation Lanes via transaction /SCMTMS/TL5 (Define Transportation Lanes). 
  • User role for transaction /SCMTMS/TL5 has associated only the authorization object C_APO_LOC, authorizations for Locations, with activity 03 (Display) and/or 08 (Display Change Documents). 
  • User still has authorization to change the Transportation Lanes and save changes. 
  • How can you restrict the authorization to only display the Transportation Lanes in Transportation Management?
