2694846 - SySAM reporting Licensed number of users already reached - SRS

Symptom

  • A 3 node SySAM 2.4 redundant license server configuration
  • The License file contains UPGRADE entries
  • Failure to obtain proper quantity of non RS_EE licenses although there are licenses available in another license pool.
  • Replication Server errorlog:
    • Checked out graced license for 4 REP_SERVER (2019.03300/permanent/xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx) will expire Thur 20 Sep 2018 03:09:46 AM BST
    • Failed to obtain license(s) for REP_SERVER feature from license file(s) or server(s)
    • SySAM: Licensed number of users already reached
    • SySAM: FlexNet Licensing error:-4,132
    • SySAM: WARNING: Replication Server will shutdown ... unless a suitable REP_SERVER license is obtained before that date.
  • SYSAM license server log:
    • (SYBASE) DENIED: "REP_SERVER" sybase@hostname (Licensed number of users already reached. (-4,342))
    • (SYBASE) DENIED: "REP_EE" sybase@hostname (No such feature exists. (-5,341))
