2695025 - Warning Message "Country of Registration for Company XYZ is Not Supported by SAP Business ByDesign. Localization is Not Available for This Country" When Editing Org Structure

Symptom

You are checking or activating changes done to the org structure and observe a warning message stating "Country of registration for company XYZ is not supported by SAP Business ByDesign. Localization is not available for this country."

Alternatively, you might also see warning "Country specified in address for org unit XYZ is not supported by SAP Business ByDesign. Localization is not available for this country" (in both cases, XYZ stands for an actual org unit ID in your tenant).

Cause

The cause for this issue is that the localization for the country/region used as country of registration or in the org unit's address is not provided along the standard SAP Business ByDesign solution.

Resolution

You may ignore this warning message and activate the org structure, but please note that non-localized countries have limited functionalities on certain transaction and specially financial aspects. If you intend to use financial aspects of these country/regions, they will have to be implemented via the Localization Toolkit.
