2695625 - DTP is executed synchronously in a process chain

Symptom

A Data Transfer Process is included in a process chain, which is executed in synchronous mode.

This can be done either from the GUI:
gui_sync.png

or from the API RSPC_API_CHAIN_START:
api_sync.png

This can lead to increased runtimes, since the DTP is executed in one of the following processing modes:

  • Serially in the Dialog process
  • Serially in the Background process

and therefore no paralleliziation takes place.
