2695873 - No operators on an approved requisition can see the requisition on the requisition overview page - Recruitment Management

Symptom

For a Job Requisition that has been approved, operators permissioned to do so are unable to view the Job Requisition in the recruiting dashboard.

Environment

 SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

Go to the Job Requisition Dashboard and operators are unable to find the Job Requisition

In report centre the Job Requisition appears but the report value for Job Title is blank

Cause

The requisition has no external or internal title.

Resolution

The workaround to have the requisition appear is detailed below but requires a Candidate ID for an Applicant of the Requisition and the Recruiter (or any user that is authorized to edit the Job Requisition Title) which can be obtained in Report Centre:

To make the Report to pull a Candidate ID and a Recruiter you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Report Centre
  2. Select New
  3. Select 'Table' report type
  4. Tick Single Domain and select the domain 'Recruiting V2'
  5. Select Continue
  6. In Select Columns please tick and add the following columns:
    1. Job Req ID
    2. Job Title (This will report a blank value)
    3. Application ID
    4. Candidate ID
    5. Job Req Operator
  7. In Select Filters please tick and filter by Job Requisition ID and the desired Operator

Workaround:

  1. Enable another language in Manage Recruiting Languages (if a language was enabled previously, or to have the language dropdown appear, this is only temporary)
  2. Proxy the Recruiter/Log on as the Recruiter
  3. Go to Recruiting → Candidates
  4. Search for the candidate's profile by selecting 'Search by Candidate ID'
  5. In the candidate's profile go to the Jobs Applied section and click the job requisition, the requisition title will be "Missing Translation [Job Title]", followed by the requisition ID.
  6. When you click the link there will be a pop-up with the candidate's application. From here click the link "Go to Job Requisition: Missing Translation [Job Title]".
  7. This will bring you to the candidate pipeline for the requisition. From here click "Job Requisition Details"
  8. Go to the 'Posting Languages' and add another Language by selecting 'Update' and ticking another Language
  9. This will make the Language Dropdown appear for the Requisition in the top right but will also add the Posting Language that was removed
  10. Update the internal Title of the required Posting Language by selecting the language in the dropdown
  11. You can then 'Update' the Posting Languages and remove the temporarily added language
  12. Click Save on the Job Requisition ensuring all required fields are present.

NOTE: If you have the Language Dropdown already when viewing the requisition it is not necessary to add a recruiting language.
