2695966 - Issues with Questions after migrating from PQE to Assessment LMS

After migrating the PQE to Assessment, the questions is displayed in such a way that the radio button does not align with the choices

PRE-REQUISITE:

Export the PQE questions first and save the file

1. Go to LMS Admin > Tools

2. Import Data

3. On the Record Type choose Question

4. Browse for the file that you saves and proceed with the Import

5. Search for the Question ID through Content > Questions

6. Edit this and try to preview the question. You will notice that the choices and the radio button does not align with each other

 

This is due to the import of html content with line returns embedded in them.

As per our Engineering team, this is not a defect. The import is not designed to fix content defects or format issues that may exist in PQE data. It was intentionally designed as an import/export, so that the customer could review and sanitize the data coming out of PQE before importing it into the new tool. Additionally, the question content can be fixed after import by using the new tool as well.
