2696001 - How to view change and deletion logs for program variants in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

• No information is returned in table VARID when searching for a deleted variant for transaction MB51 (program RM07DOCS).
• Attempting to find deletion log details for a variant through transaction SE38 returns a pop-up with no information.
• It is unclear which user deleted a specific program variant and when the deletion occurred.
