Symptom
The sales document tab of the opportunity has no data.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the work center Sales.
- Choose the view Opportunities.
- Search XYZ (XYZ represents Opportunity id).
- Open the Opportunity.
- Choose Sales documents tab.
There is no data here under Sales Quote, Sales Orders and SAP ERP Sales Documents views.
Cause
The Sales Documents view of an opportunity is empty because the data here is controlled by the following scoping questions.
1. Sales Quotes: will be visible if the Sale Quotes functionality is in scope.
2. Sales Orders: will be visible if the Sale Order functionality is in scope.
3. SAP ERP Sales Documents: will be visible if integration for Sales Quotes or Sales Orders is in scope.
In all 3 cases this is not satisfied the data is not showed.
Resolution
To check if the Sales Quotes and Sales Orders are scoped.
- Go to the Business configuration work center.
- Choose the view Implementation Projects.
- Choose the Project.
- Choose the button Edit Project Scope.
- Choose Scoping step.
- Choose the Scoping Element Sales.
- Choose the New Business View.
- Scope the Sales quotes and Sales Orders Views.
To check if the Integration is scoped.
- Go to the Business configuration work center.
- Choose the view Implementation Projects.
- Choose the Project.
- Choose the button Edit Project Scope.
- Choose Scoping step.
- Choose the Communication and information Exchange View.
- Choose the view Integration with External Applications and Solutions.
- Choose the Integration Scenario and scope it.
