2696182 - Report Distributor (WFA) - Public IP Address to be added to allowlists at 3rd Party SFTP

Symptom

  •  Customer is unable to send files (distributions) to their internal/3rd Party SFTP server from Report Distributor.
  •  The sender's (SAP SuccessFactors in this case) IP Address has to be added to allowlists at the SFTP server's firewall to allow Report distributor to put files.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Report Canvas - Report Distributor

Cause

The sender's (SAP SuccessFactors in this case) IP Address are not added to allowlists at the SFTP server's firewall to allow Report distributor to put files.

Resolution

In order to allow connections from Report Distributor to the 3rd Party SFTP server, the respective (based on the Data Center) WFA Job Server's IP address has to be added to the SFTP server's allowlists.

Note: IP Address for Production & Preview on a particular DC is same.
