2696383 - Error Appears While Creating new Purchase Order With Reference to Service Order for Repair Scenario

Symptom

You have released the service order for intercompany repair scenario and purchase request got created. However when you create new purchase order from purchase request, system shows the error message

Error:
Item 1: Limit missing
Item 1: Limit value cannot be less than or equal to zero

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  2. Go to the Purchase Requests view
  3. Select All Purchase Requests query
  4. Select the relevant Purchase Request created from Service Order
  5. Select New Purchase Order and click on Check button

Cause

You have released the intercompany service order with net value Zero and the same has been carry forward to purchase request with Value Limit Zero. Hence the error message appears

Resolution

You can release the service order with non-zero value or you can enter the value limit either in purchase request or purchase order to fix the error
