2696414 - Manage Pending Hire has wrong ID being displayed in the position field

You have noticed that in Manage Pending Hires (MPH) when you are navigating to Job Information the field position has a different ID that the selected in onboarding and that the real position ID is displayed below the field (see image below).

The employee is coming from onboarding to EC.

1. Go to Manage Pending Hires;
2. Select the Onboarding candidates;
3. Click to hire;
4. Navigate though the hire sessions until you reach Job Information and then see that there is a wrong ID displayed;

The effective date of the position is after the hire date, for example your the position 3000042 is effective as of Jan 1, 1990 and the hire date is Jan 1, 1989

The ID you see that is actually not another position ID but is the internal system ID for the position 3000042.

If the hire date of the employee happens before the start date of the position, the system won't be able to retrieve the date for that position which means that the internal code will be display.

To fix this, you need to make sure you are hiring an employee with a hire date AFTER the position start date.
