2697040 - Destination connection fails - There is no SAP Cloud Connector (SCC) connected to your subaccount

Symptom

When trying to establish a connection from a service (e.g. CPI), or an application running on SAP BTP cloud side to an on-premise system, you get the following errors:


   "503 Service Not Available"   


OR


    "There is no SAP Cloud Connector (SCC) connected to your subaccount. Requested opening of a tunnel for subaccount "<subaccount>" and default SCC location ID, that is, empty string or simply not configured. Check the configuration on SCC and cloud side."   



You have checked the documentation:
How to evaluate SAP Cloud Connector Logs and Traces, however, in the SAP Cloud Connector's ljs_trace.log/scc_core.trc no relevant logs can be found based on the timestamp of the issue occurred.
