2697153 - Benefits Usage Reporting Job is not picking all the eligible employees

Symptom

Benefits Usage Reporting Job is not pickling all the eligible employees. Some eligible employees are picked, and some are not.

Environment

Successfactors Employee Central - Global Benefits

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Check for a benefit which has 'Dependent' as parameter in its Benefit eligibility rule.
  2. Create 'Benefits Usage Reporting Job' by selecting the mentioned benefit and Run it.
  3. Go to Execution Dashboard Manager and search for the job.
  4. Check the results. Some eligible employees might be missing.

Cause

The issue is due to 'Dependents' parameter in the benefits eligibility rule. If dependents parameter is added in the benefits eligibility rule, Benefits Usage Reporting Job is picking only those eligible employees who have dependents details maintained in dependents portlet. If dependents details are not maintained, Benefits Usage Reporting Job will throw an error that dependents details are not maintained for that eligible employees.

Resolution

From 1811 release, if dependents parameter is added in eligibility rule, Benefits Usage Reporting Job will pick those employees for whom dependents data is maintained. In-case if the dependents data is not maintained, Benefits Usage Reporting Job will throw an error for that user mentioning that dependents data is missing for this user. Please ensure that dependents data is added for that user before the next Benefits Usage Reporting Job is ran so that it picks up the user without any issues.
