Symptom
You receive an error after importing foundation data Pay component.
The Import response file error shows: This operation has led to unique key constraint violation. Please check your data.

Reproducing the Issue
Step 1:
- Go to import foundation data.
- Select Pay component.
- Select Full purge or ncremental Load
- Select the file and click on submit.
Result: Your file has been uploaded to the server successfully, and will be examined for the proper text file format. An email notification will be generated once your file has been processed indicating the final status of your request. The import/ validation process can take up to an hour, depending on the size of the uploaded file. If you do not receive an email notification regarding your process, please contact our technical support.
Step 2: Check Import Reponse file in Monitor Job
- Go to Monitor
- Download and review Response file
- Error: This operation has led to unique key constraint violation. Please check your data.
Cause
Data Issue caused by End Date
Resolution
Import Pay Component in full purge mode without the end-date. end-date is usually calculated by the system, hence it should be left blank.
- Go to import foundation data.
- Select Pay component.
- Select Full purge
- Select the file and click on submit.
