2697923 - Error DEC_TAB_EMAIL_SENDER Selected email template is not valid for output type PURCHASE_ORDER

You are creating a custom email template which is a copy of the standard one " MM_PUR_PO_DEFAULT_TEMPLATE ". When you try to assign this custom template in Output Parameter Determination App, you get the following error:  "DEC_TAB_EMAIL_SENDER (Expression)  : Selected email template & is not valid for output type PURCHASE_ORDER. "

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Output Parameter Determination App.
2. Show Rules for Purchase Order.
3. Select Determination Step - Email Settings.
4. Change or assign the custom email template DEC_TAB_EMAIL_SENDER (Expression).
5. Receive error message: "DEC_TAB_EMAIL_SENDER (Expression)  : Selected email template & is not valid for output type PURCHASE_ORDER. ".

There is no configuration which links your customized email template to the output type PURCHASE_ORDER.

The customized Email Template should be assigned to type "Purchase Order".

To do this,

1. Logon with an SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT user and go to app Manage Your Solution, choose Configure Your Solution, and search for Assign Email Templates.
2. Click on the result item with the description "Define settings for form templates, email templates and output channels for output control.".
3. Then click [configure] button of the item Assign Email Templates (SSCUI 101945).
4. Here press [New Entries] and create a new entry similar to the already existing purchase order entry but with the customized Email Template.

With above steps done, the Email Template shall be able to use in Output Parameter Determination tables.
