2697958 - Error in Manage Pending Hire after clicking Accept Match

Error occurred after clicking "Accept Match" when rehiring inactive employee in Manage Pending Hire.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Manage Pending Hire
2. Choose Onboading in Pending Hire List
3. Hire employee in Onboarding
4. Click on "Accept Match for XXXXX"

• Termination details is missing on the Employment details of the employee being rehired
• The termination process has been done via insert new record in Job Information
• The termination details has been deleted in Employment details

The rule of the thumb is to terminate the employee via take action and not on the insert new record in Job Information.

If termination process has been done via history or insert new record, it will not generate termination record in Employment details which caused the issue when you rehire the employee through Manage Pending Hire.

To correct this, you need to follow below steps:

1. Delete the termination history in Job Information
2. Terminate the employee via Take Action
3. Check that the termination details has been created.
4. Go to Manage Pending Hire
5. Rehire the employee again
