2698473 - Error Message While Adding Resource to the Services tab of Bills of Operations

You are trying to add a row in the Services tab of a Bill of Operation, and when you click on check Consistency, the system returns the error message:

-----> Resource reqmt missing for res.LAB (LAB represents the Resource ID) of service reqmt at activity ACT (ACT represents the Activity ID), op.XZY (XYZ represents the Operation ID).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Go to the Production Bills of Operation view.
3. Find and select the Production Bill of Operation BOO (BOO represents the Bill of Operation ID).
4. Click the Edit button.
5. Click the Check Consistency button.
6. The system triggers the following error messages:
1. Bill of operations BOO not consistent
2. -----> Resource reqmt missing for res. LAB of service reqmt at activity ACT, op.XYZ (Service missing for service reqmt at activity ACT below operation XYZ).

Since you have not maintained the Resource LAB which is assigned to the Activity ACT as a Main Resource, this is causing the issue. You must add the Resource LAB as an Additional Resource of the Activity ACT to resolve the issue.

1. Navigate to the Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Go to the Production Bills of Operation view.
3. Find and select the Production Bill of Operation BOO.
4. Click the Edit button.
5. Go to the Structure tab.
6. Select the Activity ACT.
7. Now go to the Additional Resources sub-tab.
8. Click the Add Row button.
9. Add the Resource LAB.
10. After adding the Resource, now click on the Check Consistency button. The Bill of Operation should be consistent.
