Symptom

  • ASE errorlogs may report a timeslice error in GtElement::GtSecondaryInit(OptBlock*), for example:

timeslice -1501, current process infected at 0x187701e (GtElement::GtSecondaryInit(OptBlock*)+0x1ce)

  • ASE errorlogs may report an "infected with signal 11" error in GtElement::GtSecondaryInit(OptBlock*) followed by a stack trace:

Current process (0x63703ea) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x000000000183d3bb (GtElement::GtSecondaryInit(OptBlock*)+0x1ab), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x0x000000000000001a)
