2699610 - Import learning history - Not a valid date or time in the format 'MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss a'

When importing learning history data through the "Import Data" option, the background job fails. Download the erroneous file to check the error log and, in the "Comment" column, is possible to find the following messages:

• "'Completion Date (*required)' provided in column 'H' is not a valid date or time in the format 'MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss a'".
• "'Completion Time (*required)' provided in column 'I' is not a valid date or time in the format 'hh:mm:ss a'.".

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

In the Learning admin side, click:

1. System Administration > System Management Tools > Import Data >
2. Action = Import Data > Record Type = Learning History > Import Option = Add > Choose File > Set the Time Zone ID > Submit >
3. Run the background job immediately or schedule it > Finish >
4. Background job status = Failed.

This is due to a wrong date and/or time data inserted in the file.

The accepted data and time formats are mm/dd/yyy (00/00/0000) hh:mm:ss AM/PM (00:00:00 AM or PM).
