2699692 - Field Transformation Invalid Transformation Definition Name Missing

You are trying to activate a Custom OWL(Object Work List) in UI Designer and it getting an exception.
This exception says: Field Transformation ABCDE(ABCDE stands for the field transformation's name) Invalid Transformation Definition Name Missing

• SAP Cloud Applications Studio - all versions
• SAP Cloud for Customer - all versions
• SAP Business ByDesign - all versions

1. Open the OWL in UI Designer
2. Click on Save and Activate
3. You will get an exception saying "Field Transformation Invalid Transformation Definition Name Missing"

This exception is raised because the Field Transformation mentioned does not have a Description set.

1. Open the OWL in UI Designer
2. Switch to the Controller tab
3. Expand Field Transformations folder
4. Select the Field Transformation you got in the exception
5. You will see the field Description is empty
6. Add a Description for this Field Transformation
7. You may be able to Save and Activate this OWL without issues.
