Symptom

Error 12945 or 12943 is output by dbcc checkcatalog after loading a dump into a database with a different dbid:

  • ***Warning:
    Msg 12945, Level 16, State 2:
    Server 'ASE_SERVER', Line 2:
    Mismatch found. Current database <DB_ID>, appears in sysreferences with database <DB_ID>.

    Or 

  • Msg 12943: Severity: 16 State: 1 Line: 1  Mismatch found in SYSREFERENCES between database id
