2700142 - Error: Alternate Posting Date for Business Transaction for Accounting of Goods and Activity Confirmation XX, version Y must be After Proposed Posting Date

When trying to Reverse and Repost a Goods and Activity Confirmation XX to another period, the following errors are raised:

"Save failed."

"Alternate Posting Date for Business Transaction for Accounting of Goods and Activity Confirmation XX, version Y must be After Proposed Posting Date."

(XX represents Goods and Activity Confirmation ID, Y represents the version ID of the document).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to General Ledger - Source Documents
2. Search for Goods and Activity Confirmation XX and select it.
3. Click on Actions and View Business Transaction.
4. Click on Reverse and Report to another Period.
5. Errors are raised.

The reason of that is due to the fact that in order to change the date, a new document flow will create a new outbound delivery that will have as a creation date the current date. And as the delivery cannot be set in the past, it will block the intent on planning it on the date to be changed.

The posting date of the Goods and Activity Confirmation cannot be changed once the posting is done. This is the standard system behavior for this scenario.
