Can we change the information displayed after the tokens are populated?

The tokens mirror the information located in its origin, so the tokens' output can't be changed manually. Their purpose is to save you from having to manually edit the information each time this personalized information is added. So, if you want to change the information the token is showing, you'd need to change the information itself, or manually insert it. For example, if I want to use the [[CANDIDATE_FIRST_NAME]] token, the information that will convert when an email is sent out will be the information in the firstName field of the candidate profile/job application. It's not possible to change that information manually when using a token in the token itself, only in its source.
