Symptom

  • ESQLC application fails to upload a large image file
    • ASE sends back error message
      SQLCODE=(-187)
      ASE Error
      Odd number of bytes in IMAGE data.
    • Client Cursor error

      Cursor Id [4]: 0x00240001
      Status [1]: CUR_HASARGS (0x01)
      Length of Table Name [1]: 10
      Table Name [10]: "image_test"

      Statement [-31099]: *** Error parsing field 'Statement' with 'null' value ***
