2701099 - After deleting a Question from a Question Library, what happens to the requisition and applicants answers?

After deleting a question from a question library, what happens to the requisition if this question has already been added and to the applicants' answers to that question?

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access Admin Center -> Question Libraries:
  2. Select Your Library:
  3. Check a question and click in Delete:
  4. Access an existing requisition that uses this question, and your question will still be there.

Once you have added a question into a Job Requisition, the question becomes part of the form, which means that there is no impact on deleting a question from the library as long as you don't remove the question from the list of questions inside the Job Requisition.

Also, for the answers of each candidate, when you access their Applications in the Candidate Workbench, their answers will be intact and you will be able to continue to work normally.

The one and only impact that this will have when you create a new Job Requisition and go to add the questions, you will no longer be able to find this question in your library, or if try to add this question into an already existing requisition, you will also not be able to find the question in the library.

Please note that while it is possible to delete questions inside the library, it is not possible to delete the library itself.
