2701167 - Error Appears While Creating New Individual Materials in Purchase Order: Number of Individual Materials restricted to 100

You are creating purchase order for fixed assets however when you select New Individual Material button, system shows an error message:

Error: Item 1 - Number of Individual Materials restricted to 100

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to the Purchase Orders view 
3. Select the relevant Purchase Order
4. Navigate to Items tab and select New Individual Material button
5. Error appears

Currently it is possible to create up to 100 individual materials for one purchase order item. At the same time, the total number of all individual materials in purchase order is restricted to 300.

This is the current system behavior. As a work around, you can split the individual materials to 100 per purchase order and create them.
