2701896 - How to Restrict Users from Viewing Purchase Orders Based on Product Category?

You want to restrict users from viewing all Purchase orders raised to a certain set of product categories.

1. Go to Application and User Management work center
2. Select view Business Users
3. Search for a particular user
4. Select Edit-> Access Rights
5. Select Access Restrictions
6. You are unable to access restrictions based on product category

It is not possible to restrict users for accessing Purchase Orders based on Product Category

You can give access to specific business data, depending on the access context.  For example, if a view has the Site access
context, you can restrict write access in this view for business documents that belong to a specific site. To do so, select or deselect the corresponding checkbox in the Read Access or Write Access column.
