It is desired to understand the possible scenarios related to the request observation feature.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

When an item needs to be observed, there are different scenarios that may happen based on the system configuration:

1. The learner can select any other user when requesting the observation.
2. The learner can only select the authorized instructors configured for the item.
3. The learner cannot select another user to request the observation. This would be done by the Learning admin. In the item details page, users can view the observers, but they cannot nominate.

To have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it, where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
