You are experiencing performance issues and wish to know if there is a limit/threshold for Sales Quote Product Items.

Our developers strongly recommend to not use more than 500 items in total. Especially if you are using external pricing, timeouts or problems with the message size for the external call can happen.
The exact limit is fluent, depending on data (number of parties, pricing data, notes, attachment,…). And also on the operation. Hence, even if it is possible to create a quote with a larger amount of data does not mean that all steps of processing that quote will work as expected. If you have more than 500 items and experience performance issues (opening the quote/ viewing, previewing the quote, sending/submitting the quote, etc.) you have to reduce the number of items.
