How to hide 'Add Absence' option in the time sheet UI?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central  - Time Sheet

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Employee's Time Sheet UI page.
  2. There is an button named 'Add Absence'. This needs to be hidden

Resolution

  • The button is coupled with the access to Employee Time and the ESS enabled time types in the time profile. Therefore, as long as the employee is able to request absences, the button is shown in the Time Sheet UI.
  • If the employee's RBP access to Employee Time is revoked, then the 'Add Absence' will be hidden but do note that the employee will not be able to apply leave in time off page as well.
