2704832 - Status displaying as "t" or "f" in Employee Profile page

Symptom

Status displaying as "t" or "f" instead of Active or Inactive Employee Profile page.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Add the standard element "Status" to Employee Profile.
  2. Go to the Employee Profile block which contains "Status" and notice that the ID is displaying as "t" or "f". 

Cause

Displaying employee status as "Active" or "Inactive" is currently not supported in Employee Profile page. The standard-element Status field will only show "t" for Active and "f" for Inactive users. HRIS translates employment status in EC to status in EP as explained in KBA 2505526.

Resolution

To have this behavior change considered within future development cycles, you can submit an enhancement request on Customer Influence Portal at Customer Influence and Adoption | SAP Community. All enhancement requests are reviewed by the Product Management Team and, if successful, are developed and implemented in a future product release.
