2705105 - Not Possible to Add Party Role to Service Request

You want to add a newly created Party Role in the Involved Parties tab of the Service Request but the newly created Party Role does not appear in the drop-down list.

Prerequisite: You created the new Party Role ZXY in the Fine Tuning Activity Party Role Definition. (ZXY represents the Party Role Code)

1. Go to the Service Desk work center.
2. Select the Service Requests view.
3. Navigate to the Involved Parties tab.
4. Click on the Add Row button.
5. Select the drop-down in the field Party Role.
6. The Party Role ZXY does not appear in the list.

To be able to add a new created Party Role in a document, this new role has to be added to the Involved Parties for the particular document in the respective Fine Tuning Activity. For Service Requests there is currently no Fine Tuning Activity available and therefore it is currently not possible to add this new Party Role to the Service Requests.

The functionality to add a new Party Role to a Service Request is currently not part of SAP Business ByDesign.
