2705243 - 'TypeError - history.state is null' error opening iView using Firefox in FLP@EP

Symptom

  • You are trying to open a Fiori app using Fiori Launchpad on Portal (FLP@EP) using the Mozilla Firefox web browser
  • When you access the app (e.g: WebDynpro) and perform some in app navigations the following error will occur: Could not open app. Please try again later.
  • When you check the browser F12 Developer Console tab, the following error is recorded:
    TypeError - history.state is null
