Attachment field in the Termination Portlet is automatically populated with the Attachment from the Job Information

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Termination

1. Employee has attachment in the Job Information

2. Terminate this Employee

3. In the Termination Portlet, do not attach a file

4. Save the Termination.

5. After workflow is completed. Attachment from Job info is populated in the attachment from Termination Details

This is an expected behavior.

Attachment field in the termination portlet is derived from the attachment field in the job info.

Please note that in 1H 2023 relesae, we have introduction of "Centralized Services Support Manager Self-Service Changes to Termination Details" which will change this behavior, please check the What's new viewer page which mentions:

• The termination Job Information record will not have notes and attachments carried forward from earlier Job Information records, if the user decides not to explicitly add them during termination.
