• Can multiple TLMTriggerTasks (Trigger Tasks) jobs be created in SAP SuccessFactors?

• Can the execution time of the Trigger Tasks job be changed from the default midnight schedule?

• It is not recommended to create multiple instances of the Trigger Tasks job, as this may result in duplicate accrual postings and unintended system behavior.

• The system is designed to support only one active Trigger Tasks job, which should be scheduled to run once daily.

• When a single Trigger Tasks job is scheduled, the system will automatically adjust its execution time to run at 12:00 AM (midnight) based on the Tenant Preferred Time Zone.

  • Attempting to manually change the job's execution time will have no effect, as the system will reschedule it back to midnight.

Important Notes:

• You can adjust the Tenant Preferred Time Zone, as outlined in the SAP What's New Viewer article: “Updates to Tenant Preferred Time Zone”

  • However, changing the tenant time zone may have system-wide implications, and such changes are considered a customer-owned decision and action.

• Starting from the 2H2025 release, the system now supports monitoring of the TLMTriggerTasks job directly from the Scheduled Job Manager > Job Monitor.

  • This allows administrators to view the job status without requiring access to Provisioning.

• Despite this monitoring capability, scheduling or modifying the TLMTriggerTasks job still requires access to Provisioning.

  • Job scheduling through the instance UI is not supported, even in the 2H2025 release.
