2705723 - Can Multiple Trigger Task Jobs Be Created?

Symptom

Can we create multiple 'Trigger Task Jobs' and also change the frequency from once to every 2 hours?

Environment

  • Successfactors Employee Central - Time Off
  • Successfactors Employee Central - Time Sheet

Resolution

  • It is not recommended to create multiple trigger task job as it could lead to duplicate accruals.
  • There should only be 1 Trigger task job that is scheudled to run daily once.

For such proactive monitoring requests, unfortunately, we’ll not be able to support at the moment/until there is a process set up between our PFH , SRL and Sugumaran Venkataswamy.

 

If this is critical to be resolved, then we can follow the below approach:

 

  1. PM/Engineering reach out to CSM/CEE/Customer to create case including all the necessary details needed for review(DC, instance id, support access username, description etc.)
  2. PM/Engineering to provide the case number to support.
  3. Support:
    1. Create an Incident from the Case in the same component and transfer all the information from Case to Incident.
    2. Support assign the Incident to the PM requesting the incident.
    3. Support respond to the PM with the Incident Number.
  4. Support disengage and close the customer Case with a note that PM will follow up directly with them.
