2706250 - Fiori iView error in Firefox browser TypeError: sap.ui.Device.media.getCurrentRange(...) is null

Symptom

  • You have integrated a Fiori iView under Fiori Launchpad on Enterprise Portal (FLP@EP)
  • When accessing the iview using the Mozilla Firefox browser nothing is displayed
  • Checking the F12 Tools developer Console the following message is printed:
    "TypeError: sap.ui.Device.media.getCurrentRange(...) is null"
  • The issue does not occur under Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers
