• How and which URL do we need to set up for the Production instance?
• Stage environment doesn't have a URL set, it only has the folder name in it. How is it supposed to be set? Is it required to contact HCM Cloud Operations Portal?

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since November 19th 2021 customers have to use the new SSL Certificate tab in Career Site Builder to renew their SSL Certificates. Product Support is no longer part of the certificate installation and renewal process.

Production

The URL used to access the RMK career site must be owned by the customer (e.g. jobs.sap.com) and an SSL certificate has to be purchased and installed in SAP datacenter so that it is secured. This URL will not be accessible until the SSL is installed and the CNAME entry has been created on the customer side to point the customer's domain to the SAP domain

Note you need to own/buy a URL domain like www.company.com or www.company-jobs.com or a subdomain such as jobs.company.com (.com .net .org .gov .edu, etc.). Please note that a URL such as www.company.com/jobs (www.company.com/ will create an error as well) can't be used. In addition, when you have the domain name or subdomain, your implementation partner can start the process of certificate installation in the self-service function in Career Site Builder (CSB).

Preview (Stage)

In Preview, we don't need this secure URL and that's why we can use directly the RMK staging URL with "valhalla". In case you receive an RMK site with only the folder name in it, you can ask your Implementation Partner to complete the URL with the stage environment URL and it should work. This only applies for RMK Sites in Stage.
