2706292 - App "Change Material Type" doesn't update material type of material after pressing Execute button

Symptom

  • The App "Change Material Type" doesnt update after press the Execute button
  • The App "Change Material Type" shows  'You are changing material type from Raw materials to Empties' but no update occurs and the material type of the material remains the same

Environment

  •  SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
  •  Material Master

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access Fiori Launchpad
  2. Open the App "Change Material Type"
  3. Input Material 
  4. Select New Material Type from Dropdown menu
  5. Press Button Execute
  6. Message "You are changing material type from Raw materials to Empties" appears , for example 

Cause

After pressing Execute , a warning with 'You are changing material type from &  materials to &'  is shown to make sure if you really wish to proceed with changing the material type

Resolution

Press Enter to Confirm with updating the Material Type
