Symptom
To ensure that as an administrator, you are viewing all the LMS database tables and views which are available to access within PRD.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Connect to Plateau Report Desinger using your VJDBC connection details.
- Open an existing report and expand a Data Set. Under the Available Items section expand the Data Source (if necessary) to reveal your Schema.
- Expand the Schema and note that some of the tables and views which were expected to be displayed are not available.
Cause
The Preferences options within PRD need to be updated so that all are displayed for your Schema
Resolution
-
Within PRD, navigate to Window > Preferences > Report Design > Data Set Editor > JDBC Data Set
-
Note the value for the 'Maximum number of tables in each schema to display:' configuration
-
Adjust this value to your preference. According to the latest version of the Data Dictionary there are approximately close to 1300 tables and views. Have set this example therefore to 1500 so it should display all.
