2707460 - How to add a curriculum based on the job classfication?

Is it possible to have a curriculum added to the Learning user based on the job classification.

Automatically assign a curriculum based on a job classification can be achieved via the "Add curricula to users who are assigned this job classification" option, available when adding curricula to the job classification. To proceed so, those are the steps:

1. Log into HCM > Navigate to Learning Administration > References > People Management > Job Classifications 
2. Search for the required job classification > Open in the edit mode > Go to the Curricula tab 
3. Click on the "add one or more from list" and search the curricula to be added to the job classification 
4. Before adding the curricula, tick the option "Add curricula to users who are assigned this job classification" if you want to add a curriculum to users who are currently associated with the job position 
5. Check the curricula "Add" checkbox > Hit Add

• Please note that only administrators with the 'Edit Job Classification' permission can modify these settings.

If it is desired to understand how to have a curricula added to the user based on the alternate job classification:

The curricula from an alternate job classification would only get assigned to the user through an assignment profile (AP), where it has the alternate job classification as the rule and the curricula added to the AP's curricula section.

Note: Job classifications are able to assign curricula to inactive users as well if "Automatically assign the curricula when the user is assigned this job classification" is selected on the Job Classification > Summary tab and the user gets the Job Classification assigned while being inactive.

As a workaround, we recommend:

• Using only assignment profiles for curricula assignment, since it will not assign to any inactive users then.
