Symptom

  • Frequent check point activity even though there is no real end-user transactions on mpx.
  • There may be heavy new user creation activity during that time.
  • Srvlog shows following:

Starting checkpoint of "XXXXXX" (XXXXXX.db)
Starting checkpoint of "XXXXXX" (XXXXXX.db)
Starting checkpoint of "XXXXXX" (XXXXXX.db)
Starting checkpoint of "XXXXXX" (XXXXXX.db)
