2708681 - A part of exported Japanese characters is garbled - SAP IQ 

Symptom

When you export data in IQ table to flat file, a part of Japanese SJIS characters may be garbled.
This issue happens when the below conditions are filled:

  • ISQL_ESCAPE_CHARACTER database option is configured as '\' (default setting)
  • SJIS character code which has '0x5C' in the 2nd byte is used as the head data of the column.
    Exception: 偆(0xed5c) and 砡(0xee5c)
