Symptom
- The value of configurable parameter 'cis idle connection timeout' is larger than 0.
- There exists idle CIS|OMNI connections.
- Sequence of three events in ASE errorlog:
- Process with spid 9 (HK CHORES) reported ct_cancel and ct_close failure messages while it tried to terminate idle cis connections:
RDESDISC, spid 1510 rdesp 0x7fc8913c4df0 rd_connection 0x7fc77294c8c0: ct_cancel(CS_CANCEL_ALL) failed.
usctclose(CS_FORCE_CLOSE) returns CS_FAIL
RDESDISC, spid 1510 rdesp 0x7fc8913c4df0 rd_connection 0x65b9880: ct_close(CS_FORCE_CLOSE) failed.
- Signal 11 (SIGSEGV) in np__connect_cb() with a stack trace:
